Description
For sample adults who had ever smoked non-cigarette tobacco products (NONCIGEV), NONCIGNOW indicates if the respondent currently smoked any of these products, and how frequently they did so.
Comparability
NONCIGNOW was introduced in 2012, along with five other questions regarding non-cigarette tobacco use, as part of the adult health behaviors section of the sample adult questionnaire. There are no comparability issues.
