Description
For sample adults, NONCIGEV indicates if the respondent ever used tobacco products other than cigarettes that are smoked. Respondents were told non-cigarette tobacco products include "cigars, pipes, water pipes or hookahs, very small cigars that look like cigarettes, bidis or cigarillos." Respondents were asked if they had ever used any of these non-cigarette tobacco products, even if it was only one time. Interviewers were told not to include electronic cigarettes or e-cigarettes.
