Description

For sample adults in 2007, MOVTRAG reports whether the person had ever seen a practitioner or teacher for Trager Psychophysical Integration. Those who answered affirmatively were asked whether they had seen a practitioner or teacher for Trager in the past 12 months (MOVTRAGYR). In 2007, information was also collected on the use of Trager Psychophysical Integration during the past year by sample children.

MOVTRAG and related movement technique variables are part of a series of variables dealing with Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Although data on movement techniques were collected only in 2007, data on 15 other modalities of alternative medicine were collected through the Complementary and Alternative Medicine supplements in both 2002 and 2007.
