Description
For sample persons ages 18 and older who reported that their birth mother was ever diagnosed with cancer and who provided the first type of cancer which the mother was diagnosed as having, MOCAN2 reports whether the sample person's mother ever had another kind of cancer diagnosed by a doctor. Please use drop down menus for related variables.
Universe
- 1987: Half of sample persons age 18+ (excluded from CACT supplement) who did not report that they never knew their natural mother, whose mother was ever diagnosed with cancer, and for whom a valid cancer code for the mother's first cancer was reported.
