Description

For sample female adults ages 18 to 49 who have had a menstrual period in the past 12 months and are not currently pregnant OR sample female adults ages 50 and older, MENSFLOW reports whether the respondent's menstrual flow is lighter, about the same, heavier, more variable, or has stopped, compared with 12 months ago.

Universe

  • 1999: Female sample adults who have had a menstrual period in the past 3 months AND who are age 18 to 49 and not pregnant (or whose pregnancy status is unknown) OR who are age 50+.
