Description
For sample female adults ages 40-60, MENOPAUSAL reports whether the respondent was currently experiencing any of the changes or symptoms of menopause.
MENOPAUSAL was first introduced in 1994. For related variables, please use the IPUMS NHIS search function or drop-down menus.
Universe
- 1994: Half of female sample adults age 40 to 60 (excluded from AIDS supplement).
- 1998: Female sample adults age 40 to 60.
