Description
For female sample adults ages 18-49 who did not refuse to say if they are currently pregnant or if they were pregnant in August-March (for interviews that occurred between April and July, therefore capturing the possibility of a recent pregnancy), LIVEBIRTH indicates whether the respondent had a pregnancy that ended in a live birth in the past 12 months.
In 2019, the question for LIVEBIRTH was sponsored by the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Universe
- 2019-2023: Female sample adults age 18-49 or refused or did not know their age who were pregnant during August-March or did not refuse to say if they are currently pregnant.
