Description
For sample persons age 55 and older in 1984 and persons age 65 and older in 1986, who, due to a health or physical problem, have difficulty walking and who use special equipment when walking, LAWALKEQPT1 reports the first type of equipment she/he uses.
Persons report up to two types of equipment used for this activity. To see the second type of equipment used, please refer toLAWALKEQPT2.

Universe
- 1984: Sample persons age 55+ who have difficulty walking and use special equipment for walking.
