Description
For persons who are related household members of a respondent, who have been laid off or lost a job at least three times during the past 12 months, LAIDOFT3MO reports the month of the person's third most recent job loss. It should be combined with LAIDOFT3Y (Date of layoff third time ago, past 12 months: Year) for a complete date of the third most recent layoff.
LAIDOFT3MO was part of the health insurance supplement. Persons in families who experienced a lay off were asked about loss of health insurance during the lay-off. For related variables, please use the IPUMS NHIS search function and drop-down menus.
