For persons related to a household member who had been laid off or lost a job at least one time during the past 12 months, LAIDOFT1MO reports the month of the most recent or only job loss.
LAIDOFT1MO was part of the health insurance supplement. Persons in families who experienced a lay off were asked about loss of health insurance during the lay-off. For related variables, please use the IPUMS NHIS search function and drop-down menus.
