Description
LAHMRAMP indicates whether the person's home had been equipped with a ramp to accommodate the person's disability.

Comparability
Changes to the universe will reduce comparability over time. In 1977, the universe for LAHMRAMP is persons age three and older for whom changes had been made to the house due to their disability. In this year, a "yes" response is indicated in the event that the house was bought with these features. In 1990, the universe for this variable is all persons who completed the assistive devices questionnaire. Please see the Universe tab for more details.
