Description
For sample persons who need help with eating due to a disability or health problem, and reported a condition that caused her/his need for help, LAEATONSET reports the length of time since the onset of the condition that causes the need for help with eating.
This variable is part of a series of variables related to the difficulty of doing various activities due to a physical/mental condition, the use of help from others to carry on such activities, and the number of years this difficulty has persisted.
