Description
For sample persons age 55 and older in 1984 and age 65 and older in 1986, who, due to a health or physical problem, has difficulty getting dressed and reports using special equipment when doing this activity, LADRESSEQPT2 reports the second type of equipment she/he uses. Persons could report up to two types of equipment used for this activity. Please use the IPUMS NHIS search function or drop-down menus to find related variables, including additional types of special equipment reported.
Universe
- 1984: Sample persons age 55+ who have difficulty dressing and use special equipment dressing.
- 1986: Persons age 65+ who have difficulty dressing because of a health or physical problem and use special equipment dressing.
