Description
For sample persons age 20 and older in 1977 who need help bathing due to a disability or health problem, and age 17 and older in 1979-1980 who require individual home care and need help bathing, LABATHOFT reports the frequency with which she/he needs help from another person when bathing. This variable is part of a series of variables related to the difficulty of doing various activities due to a physical/mental condition, the use of help from others to carry on such activities, and the number of years this difficulty has persisted.
