Description
For sample persons age 55 and older in 1984 and age 65 and older in 1986, who, due to a health or physical problem, has difficulty bathing or showering and reports using special equipment when doing this activity, LABATHEQPT1 reports the first type of equipment she/he uses. See Codes tab for response categories.
Persons could report up to two types of equipment used for this activity. The second type of equipment, if reported, is available in another variable. Please use the drop-down menus or search function to find related variables.
Universe
- 1984: Sample persons age 55+ who have difficulty bathing or showering and use special equipment when bathing or showering.
- 1986: Persons age 65+ who have difficulty bathing or showering and who use special equipment bathing or showering.
