Description
For sample children under age 18 who have at least five specific listed health conditions, KIDCHRON5 is a recoded variable, which reports whether the fifth condition listed was chronic or not. Chronic was defined as a condition lasting three months or longer (or since birth, for infants less than three months old), which has not been cured. For details on the fifth condition, see KIDC5.
