For sample persons who ever had their blood pressure taken, HYPLEVELTOLD reports whether the blood pressure was told in numbers at last check.

Apart from changes in the universe, this variable is comparable over time.

1974: Sample persons age 17+ who ever had their blood pressure taken.
1985; 1990: Sample persons age 18+ who have had their blood pressure taken.
1994: Half of sample persons age 18+ (excluded from AIDS supplement) who have ever had their blood pressure checked by a doctor or health professional.
