Description
For persons who second private insurance plan's policyholder is on the family roster, but covers someone who lives outside the household, HIP2SPOUT reports that the person covered who lives outside the household is the policyholder's spouse.
The NHIS provides data for the first two private insurance plans reported. Individuals with more than two private plans have a "2" reported for the variable HIPRIVGT2.
Universe
- 2011-2013; 2014: Persons with a private insurance plan (for their second insurance plan) whose policyholder is on family roster and whose plan covers someone outside the family roster.
