Description
For persons whose policyholder of the second private insurance plan is on the family roster and whose plan cover someone who lives elsewhere, HIP2OTHOUT that the person covered who lives elsewhere has some other relationship to the policyholder (other than those specified in the survey, i.e., child, including stepchild, spouse and former spouse).
The NHIS provides data for the first two private insurance plans reported. Individuals with more than two private plans have a "2" reported for the variable HIPRIVGT2.
