Description
For sample persons aged 18 and older who worked at a civilian job last year and had any hand discomfort last year due to an injury that lasted at least 7 consecutive days or at least 20 nonconsecutive days, HDSTOPWK reports if the person ever stopped working or changing his/her job because of the hand discomfort condition.
This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.

- 1988: Sample persons aged 18+ who worked last year at a civilian job and who had any hand discomfort due entirely to an injury for at at least 7 consecutive days or at least 20 nonconsecutive days last year
