Description
For sample persons aged 18 and older who worked at a civilian job last year and had any hand discomfort last year due to an injury that lasted at least 7 consecutive days or at least 20 nonconsecutive days, HDSLEEP reports if the person's hand discomfort condition gets worse when he/she is trying to sleep.
This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.

- 1988: Sample persons aged 18+ who worked last year at a civilian job and who had any hand discomfort due entirely to an injury for at at least 7 consecutive days or at least 20 nonconsecutive days last year
