Description
For sample persons aged 18 and older who worked at a civilian job last year and had any hand discomfort last year due to an injury that lasted at least 7 consecutive days or at least 20 nonconsecutive days, HDNOYRS reports the total number of years that the person was bothered by his/her hand discomfort condition.
This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.
