Description
For sample persons aged 18 and older who worked at a civilian job last year, who had any hand discomfort last year due to an injury that lasted at least 7 consecutive days or at least 20 nonconsecutive days, and who has never stopped working or changed their job because of hand discomfort, HDMADECW reports whether the person has ever made major changes in his/her job activities because of hand discomfort.
This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.
Universe
- 1988: Sample persons aged 18+ who worked last year at a civilian job, who had any hand discomfort due entirely to an injury for at at least 7 consecutive days or at least 20 nonconsecutive days last year, and who ever stopped working or changed jobs due to hand discomfort
