Description
For sample persons aged 18 and older who worked at a civilian job last year, who had any hand discomfort last year due to an injury that lasted at least 7 consecutive days or at least 20 nonconsecutive days, and who saw a medical doctor, chiropractor, physical therapist or other medical person for their hand discomfort, HDIAGNOS reports the diagnosis of the person's hand discomfort condition.
This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.
Universe
- 1988: Sample persons aged 18+ who worked last year at a civilian job, who had any hand discomfort due entirely to an injury for at at least 7 consecutive days or at least 20 nonconsecutive days last year, and who saw a medical person for hand discomfort
