Description
For sample persons ages 18 and older who keep firearms in or around their home, own more than one firearm, and keep ammunition in or around their home, GUN2AMSEP reports if the respondent keeps ammunition with a firearm or in a separate place away from all firearms.

Universe
- 1994: Half of sample persons age 18+ (excluded from AIDS supplement) who keep firearms in or around home, who own more than one firearm (or for whom the number of firearms was unknown), who keep firearm either loaded or unloaded (or for whom it was unknown whether the firearm was kept unloaded), and who kept other ammunition in or around the home.
