Description

For sample adults ages 18 and older, GRAPFRNO reports the frequency with which the respondent ate grapefruit in the past year. GRAPFRNO should be used in conjunction with GRAPFRTP, which reports the corresponding time unit stated by the respondent. Researchers may also want to use GRAPFRSIZ, which reports the corresponding portion size.

Comparability

Changes in survey design (e.g., quarters in which the supplement was collected) may affect raw frequencies, but do not affect comparability of the variable. As always, data users should use the prescribed IHIS weights.
