For all persons, GOTINTFLAG indicates whether the person's information on income from savings or bank account interest during the month prior to the interview (GOTINT) was imputed.
In 1993, this variable is only available for those who were interviewed in quarters 3 and 4.
[show more]GOTINTFLAG is part of the Family Resources supplement that provides information on individuals' health benefits, amount of coverage and income received from employment, welfare benefits, public assistance, and savings during the month prior to the interview. Unlike the core survey, all missing data in this supplement were imputed by NHIS.
