For sample adults age 18 and older who are former smokers and who quit smoking within the past 2 years, FSQOTMEDS2YR indicates if respondents used a nicotine-containing nasal spray, inhaler, lozenge, or tablet to quit smoking completely.
Question wording changed slightly between years. In 2005, the question asked if people had used a nicotine nasal spray, inhaler, lozenge, or tablet. In 2010 and 2015, the question asked only about a nicotine nasal spray or inhaler.
