Description
For sample persons age 17 and older who require individual home care, FLTRANHELPR2 reports if she/he needs help from others if or when she/he uses public transportation such as buses, trains, subways, or planes.
Comparability
Changes in survey design (e.g., quarters in which the supplement was collected) may affect raw frequencies, but do not affect comparability of the variable. As always, data users should use the prescribed IPUMS NHIS weights.
