Description
For sample persons age 18 and older who, due to a physical or mental health condition, has difficulty going outside the home alone or do not do this activity at all, FLGOOUTHELP reports if the person needs help from another person to go outside the home, such as to shop or visit a doctor's office.
This variable is part of a series of variables related to the difficulty of doing various activities due to a physical/mental health condition, the use of help from others to carry on such activities, and the number of years this difficulty has persisted.
