Description
For sample persons under age 18, FHEADEV indicates if the child ever had frequent or severe headaches, including migraines. The inquiry did not require that the condition be diagnosed by a doctor or health professional, and a definition of "frequent or severe" or "migraine" was not provided in the survey text or in the Field Representative's Manual , and these terms were respondent defined.
The question for FHEADEV was part of a series of questions on child health conditions in the 1988 Supplement on Child Health.
