Description
For all persons living in families whose at least one family member owns a vehicle, FAMCARWFLAG indicates persons whose information on the estimated monetary value of all vehicles in their family (FAMCARW) was imputed.

[show more]FAMCARWFLAG is part of the Family Resources supplement that provides information on individuals' health benefits, amount of coverage and income received from employment, welfare benefits, public assistance, and savings in the month prior to the interview. Unlike the core questionnaires, all missing data in this supplement were imputed by the NHIS.
Universe
- 1993: All persons in quarters 3 and 4 living in families where at least one family member owns a vehicle.
- 1994-1996: All persons living in families where at least one family member owns a vehicle.
