Description

For sample children, EYEXAMEV indicates if the individual has ever had their vision tested by a doctor or other health professional. Please see the Universe tab for changes in universe over time.

For those who answered affirmatively, a follow-up question asked the number of months since their vision was last tested (EYEXAMOS).

Universe

  • 2002: Sample children under the age of 6.
  • 2008; 2016 2017: Sample children under 6 who are not blind.
  • 2023: Sample children ages 0-17.
