Description

For sample adults in 1991 whose last routine check-up was less than 1 year ago (PHYSICALYRS) and whose doctor or other health professional recommended beginning or continuing exercise (EXDOCREC), EXDJO indicates whether the doctor or health professional recommended that the person begin or continue jogging.

Related Jogging Variables

Sample adults who were advised to jog were asked to report the recommended frequency and duration of jogging, as well as what method they were advised to use to check how hard they should exercise.
