Description
For sample persons aged 18 and older, EMPSTATYR reports the person's employment status in the past 12 months, including if the person worked all of the past 12 months, part of the past 12 months but not in the last two weeks, part of the past 12 months but unknown if worked all of the past 12 months, or not at all in the past 12 months.
This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.
