Description

For sample persons ages 40 and over who have had a digital rectal exam in the past 3 years, DRXLYHLTH reports if the person's last digital rectal exam was because of a health problem.

There are no comparability issues with this variable.

Universe

  • 1987: Half of sample persons age 40+ (excluded from CAEP supplement) who have heard of a digital rectal exam and have had exam in the past 3 years.
