Description

DRMWKLNGJOB indicates if the person's skin condition was related to their longest-held job. This inquiry was directed at sample adults age 18 years and over who are currently employed (EMPSTATSA) or employed at some time in the past 12 months (EMPSTATWKYR) who reported having dermatitis, eczema, or any other red, inflamed skin rash in the past 12 months (DRMYR) who have been told by a doctor or other health professional that their skin condition was probably work related (DRMWKRETOLD) whose current job or job in the past 12 months was not their longest-held job (MAINLONG) and was not the cause of their skin condition (DRMWKCURJOB).

Sample adults who were told that their skin condition was probably work related were asked follow-up questions to ascertain which and what type job their condition was connected. For a list of variables related to these questions see DRMWKRETOLD.

For more information on dermatitis and other variables related to connections between specific conditions and jobs held see DRMYR.
