Description

For sample adults and children in 2012 whose have seen a practitioner for special diets in the past 12 months, DITBOOK reports whether they bought a self-help book or other materials such as a DVD, CD, or video to learn about special diets. For sample children, DITBOOK reports whether a family member bought a self-help book or other materials to learn about the sample child's use of special diets.

Special diets were one of many alternative health treatment modalities included in the Alternative Health Supplements.
