Description
For all persons ages 18 and older, DIASTAT89 reports the person's Diabetes supplement response status, including whether the person is diabetic or non-diabetic and whether or not the person is a sample person.
This variable is included in the 1989 Diabetes supplement. For related variables, please use the IPUMS NHIS search function and drop-down menus.
