For sample adults who did completed a set of questions on bowel functions; and who have not had a colostomy; and reported having had diarrhea always, most of the time, or some of the time during the past 12 months, DIARSAWMDYR indicates whether the respondent saw a doctor during the past 12 months about her/his diarrhea. For the number of times the respondent saw a doctor in the past twelve months, see DIARSAWMDX.
