Description

For sample adults who had ever been told by a doctor or other health professional that they had diabetic retinopathy (DIARETINEV), DIARETINYR identifies those who had diabetic retinopathy during the past 12 months. As the 2002 Field Representative's Manual reports, diabetic retinopathy is "an eye problem of diabetes that damages the tiny blood vessels in the retina."
