Description

For persons ages 18 and older with confirmed diabetes who are now taking diabetes pills (oral hypoglycemic agents), DIAPILLSTP reports the type of time unit for the length of time this person has been taking diabetes pills. DIAPILLSTP should be combined with the number of months or years (DIAPILLSNO) for the complete length of time for which the person has been taking diabetes pills.
