Description

For persons ages 18 and older who have confirmed diabetes, DIAPARENTDB reports whether the person's biological parent(s) were ever told that they had diabetes, excluding pre, potential or borderline diabetes.

This question is complementary to PARENTDB, which was asked of sample adults who do not have confirmed diabetes.
