Description

For persons who had at least one dental visit in the past two weeks, DENTUNK reports the number of visits in the past two weeks to have an unknown type of procedure.

Comparability

Changes in the sampling universe may affect comparability over time. For example, in 1971, persons who reported no dental visits in the past two weeks were assigned a value of 0 on DENTUNK. In 1983, they are coded as not in universe.

  • 1983: All persons with 1+ dental visits in the past 2 weeks.
