For persons ages 18 and older with confirmed diabetes who are now taking diabetes pills (oral hypoglycemic agents), DBPILOFTNO reports the number of times this person takes diabetes pills per day or week. DBPILOFTNO should be combined with the type of time unit (DBPILOFTTP) for the complete frequency with which this person uses diabetes pills. The number represents the number of times per time unit.
