Description

For sample children age 3 and over who have had a voice problem in the past 12 months that lasted one week or longer, CVAGEVOC reports the age at which the child first began to have any voice problems.

According to the Field Representative's Manual, voice disorders are "a group of problems involving abnormal pitch, loudness, or quality of the sound produced by the larynx (voice box)."
