For sample adults age 18 and older, CSQOTRMEDSYR indicates if the person used a nicotine-containing nasal spray, inhaler, lozenge, or tablet when he/she tried to quit smoking in the past 12 months. Comparability

In 2005, this question was asked of sample adults who smoked at least 100 cigarettes, are current smokers, and tried to quit in the past 12 months.

In 2010 and 2015, this question was asked of sample adults who are current smokers and tried to quit in the last year.
