Description
For sample persons age 18 and older who smoked at all and were hospitalized overnight at least once in the past 12 months, CSQHOSPNOR is a recoded variable reporting the proportion of hospital stays during which respondents were advised to quit smoking. Responses are recorded in the following categories: none of the hospitalizations, all hospitalizations, and some hospitalizations.
