Description
For sample persons age 18 and older who have smoked 100 cigarettes, currently smoke every day and have ever stopped smoking for at least 1 day for a reason other than sickness, CSQFRIEND indicates if, the last time the person stopped smoking, she/he stopped smoking along with friends or relatives who were also trying to quit.
Universe
- 1992: Half of sample persons age 18+ in quarters 1 and 2, and in 2 weeks of quarter 3 (excluded from CAEP supplement) who have smoked at least 100 cigarettes, smoke cigarettes now, smoke every day, and have ever stopped smoking for 1 day or more and whose reason for stopping was not ONLY because of sickness.
