Description
For sample adults age 18 and older, CSQCHANTXYR indicates if the person used a prescription pill called Chantix or Varenicline during her/his attempt to stop smoking in the past 12 months. Please see Comparability and Universe tabs for complete information on changes in universe between samples.
Comparability
In 2010 and 2015, this question was asked of sample adults who are current smokers and tried to quit in the last year.
In 2022, this question was asked of sample adults 18 and older who tried to quit smoking in the past 12 months (CSSTOPEV).
